Canine Color is an easy-to-use, rinse-out coloring shampoo for dogs! Simply shampoo your dog to make brilliantly creative and intense colors. It's safe, fun, and effective! This pet-safe, semi-permanent temporary coloring shampoo is extremely safe and gentle on the coat of your pet. This product is only tested on humans and is dog approved. You have your choice of 8 amazing bright and vivid colors to choose from. Mix them up for some fun and crazy looks for your pup. Grab some Canine Color for any of the holidays to get into the spirit including Halloween, St. Paddy's Day, Christmas, Chanukah, and more! This product is made in the USA.

Directions: 

  • Apply to wet hair. Lather for 2-3 minutes. Rinse. One shampoo deposits pastel colors. For Intense color, shampoo additional times to create the color intensity that you want. Continuous use will keep the color bright.
  • To remove Canine Color: Shampooing a few times can lighten and help to remove the color over time. *This product is semi-permanent. Semi-permanent hair dye typically lasts about six weeks, but you could see it gradually start to fade prior.
  • Warning: Use the product carefully to avoid staining. You should always keep a stain remover product on hand in case it's needed.
  • Caution: The product contains ingredients that may cause skin irritation on some individuals or pets. A preliminary skin test should be done. Do not use it on eyes, eyelashes, or eyebrows as it may cause blindness.
  • Pro-Tip: These colors work best on white coats and can also work on lighter-haired coats. It will not show up on black coats. Use gloves to protect your hands from any staining.


No Parabens - No Sulfates - No Peroxides
Canine Color doesn't use any harsh chemicals and it will not have any bad odors that the dog or their human will have to breathe in. No use of harmful or strong ingredients including ammonia or bleach that can be dangerous for pets.

Every product has a unique size chart which can be found in the description of each product. Make sure to measure your pet based on the size chart available for each product. By referring to the size chart shown, it will help ensure the perfect fit. 

Below is a guide to help you measure your dog. If you require assistance, please CONTACT US. We are happy to help!

  • To determine the proper size for your dog, measure your dog's neck, chest, and back with a soft tape measure following the instructions below.
  • If you don't have a soft tape measure handy, but you do have a printer, CLICK HERE! When all else fails, use a string or ribbon to wrap around the dog and then lay flat next to a rigid tape measure or ruler.
  • When measuring your dog, the pet must be standing in a normal position. Laying down or sitting will result in inaccurate measurements. 


1. Neck circumference is measured at the base of the neck where the collar sits. Pull the tape snug but not tight.

2. Back length is measured from the base of your pet's neck where the collar sits to the base of the tail. 

3. Chest girth is measured at the widest part of the pet's chest just behind the front legs. Measure around the entire chest.

*For clothing, accurate chest measurements are critical, especially in breeds who have a much deeper chest. Please go one size larger for dogs with very thick fur or if the chest measurements fall between sizes.

4. Paws are measured by standing your pet on a sheet of paper and tracing all four paws including fur and nails. Measure the width and length of the largest paw print to determine your dog's shoe size. Alternatively, some shoes will have a printable size chart.
